These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of DataForte ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16, if required by local law) to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

• You must create an account to access certain features.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at info@dataforte.io if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Services and Content

• Educational Content: We provide access to courses, quizzes, and other learning materials. Some content may be provided by third-party partners.
• License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Platform or its content without our written permission.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

• Non-Refundable Payments: All payments, including courses track payment, subscriptions and one-time purchases, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law. We do not offer refunds for partial use, dissatisfaction, or failure to complete a course.
• Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your provided payment method.
• Price Changes: We may adjust fees at any time, with notice provided via email or the Platform. Changes apply to future billing cycles.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
• Upload content that is offensive, infringing, or violates others' rights (e.g., copyright, privacy).
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or bypass the Platform's security measures.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

6. Intellectual Property

• Our Rights: The Platform, including its design, code, content, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display it as necessary to provide our services.

7. Termination

• By You: You may delete your account at any time via the Platform's settings.
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but non-refunded fees remain non-refunded.

8. Disclaimers

• The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied (e.g., fitness for a particular purpose).
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of content or that the Platform will be error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss) arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
• Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, except for small claims or injunctive relief, which may be pursued in court.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
